This is your friendly reminder that any parent of a student who will be enrolled in an FCPS school NEXT YEAR is eligible to vote today at your child's school office for one person to represent parents on the search committee. If you have more than one child enrolled in the Franklin County Public Schools, we ask that you select one school location and vote only once. See below for statements from each nominee. Science Club
Science club will meet next Tuesday, March 28th until 4:30.  
Cheerleading clinic and tryouts: Clinics-- March 27th and 28th 4-6 in the Bondurant gym; Tryouts: March 29th 4:00-? in the Bondurant gym. Attendance is mandatory all three days!! Packets are in the office for pickup. 
Choir Parents
Mr. Mann is in need of chaperone's to travel with the choirs to Lexington on March 28th and/or 29th. If you are available and willing to help, please contact Mr. Mann ASAP; Thanks. 
Movie Reward Trip
2nd semester movie reward trip will be Thursday, March 30th to see Beauty and the Beast. Permission slips will go home this Friday and due along with the $8 NO LATER THAN Wed. the 29th!!!! NO exceptions!!! Check made to BMS or correct change is appreciated. This will cover admission, bus transport, drink and popcorn. The guidelines are: 3.0 GPA, no unexcused absences and no discipline referrals for 2nd trimester. Students will only receive 1 copy of this permission slip and no parent notes will be accepted!!! This has been announced so everyone is aware in advance!! 
Bondurant RCX Robotics Team Going to State
Bondurant Middle School's RCX robotics team Squadbots 2.0 placed 2nd at the Georgetown College RCX Regionals on Saturday and will be competing at the STLP State Championship in April. Daniel Ward, Quinn Oney, and Conner Hill (Ahmad Ateyeh also on the team) represented BMS on Saturday, and have been writing and refining code since November. RCX is a challenging way for students to expand their knowledge of math and science through a challenging robotics competition. RCX is a team activity designed to strengthen student’s teamwork skills, communication skills, computer programming and problem solving skills.

Bee Box
The Bee Box turned out great again this year.  Congratulations to all Bondurant students who helped design and paint the box.  We appreciate the Capital City Bee Keepers for allowing us to participate in this community project.

DC Informational Meeting
8th grade Washington, D.C. parent informational meeting will be Tuesday, April 11th at 5:00 in the theatre. MANY important details will be given out so it’s imperative at least 1 parent of each student going on the trip be in attendance.

Dance Team

Pro Active for Life 5K
Help BMS win Pro Active for Life 5K Competition April 21st! Any BMS student, staff member, and friends/family members are welcomed to be on Bondurant’s team for the Pro Active for Life 5K. Participants are encouraged to run, jog, OR walk to the finish line. WE can win $500 and a Butterfly Garden/Monarch Way Station by you, and others you know, signing up for the race! Please with any questions regarding your registration. If you have already registered, please let Ms. Moreland know so she can add you to our team. Every BMS student will receive one BRAVES pass for every registration they turn in. Finally, the homeroom with the most registrants will receive a party of their choice. Register by April 19th, children 17 and under are $10 and adults are $20. Registration forms can be found on or you can sign up online at Be sure to add Bondurant Middle School as your team name and show up on race night! You may also drop off paper registrations and money to BMS front office and Ms. Moreland will get them to Pro Active. BIG DAY IS APRIL 21st!!

PTO Requests Kroger Community Rewards Signups

PTO needs your help again this year. August is re-enrollment month for the Kroger Community Rewards program. Even if you are already a participant, you need to re-enroll for Bondurant to continue receiving rewards based on your purchases. Box Tops, Labels for Education, Tyson A+, Ink Cartridges and Old Cell Phone/Tablets Donations
The BMS PTO supports a homeroom competition each trimester. The homeroom with the most donations of Box Tops for Education, Labels for Education, Tyson A+, Coke Rewards, used ink cartridges and old cell phones/tablets wins a party. Please continue to save your items over the summer so your child can turn them into his/her homeroom teacher at the beginning of the new school year. Thank you for supporting the BMS PTO.
