Parents of 2nd and 3rd Grade Students:
Although we are working hard to build conceptual understanding in mathematics at all levels, it is crucial for students to master addition facts (by the end of 2nd grade) and multiplication facts (by the end of 3rd grade). To be successful in math and increase problem-solving skills, students should be able to recall math facts quickly and accurately.
