At Bridgeport, "Manners Matter"
Students from Bridgeport Elementary School recently celebrated their selection as "most well-mannered" at Wendy's on the west side of Frankfort. Bridgeport and the local Wendy's franchise have partnered to create "Manners Matter," a program to encourage, reward and reinforce manners and respect while at school. Every homeroom teacher at Bridgeport selects one student each month for recognition. The students are then taken to Wendy's for a sit-down, white-tablecloth lunch.
