MAP Celebration
We are so excited to share that our students met our Comprehensive School Improvement Plan Goal of having 80% of our kindergarten students achieving the benchmark score in both reading and math on the MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) test! 83% of our students achieved the benchmark score in reading and 84% of our students achieved the benchmark score in math!!! We couldn’t be more proud of you! To celebrate this achievement our WHOLE school was invited to Mr. Murphy’s MAP Derby Party! The party included a chance for each student to run for the roses and then each a slice of cake adorned with a beautiful red rose. Special thanks to Mr. Disponette and Ms. Crystal at our Eastside Kroger for our “derby” cake. ALL of our “thoroughbreds” enjoyed a special treat for a job well done!

Helping Your Child Become a Better Reader!
Early exposure to reading comprehension questions and story details will help strengthen your student's ability to process what they read. They will become better readers as they continue to connect what they read to what they already know.
