Book Fair September 25-29 at EMS 
Demerit System at EMS
We have received questions about the demerit system and wanted to share the flow chart with parents. A more detailed explanation will be in Mr. Rhode's weekly email (sent via the OneCall system). if you do not receive the email and wish to, please contact our front office. 

6th grade students
Any 6th grader who has not returned a 6th grade physical AND immunization must do so by September 5th. Parents or guardians can submit paperwork or proof of appointment to the front office, fax it to 502-695-6745, or email it to 
Changes to Website Coming
Parents, Guardians, and Community Members:

Please note there will be some major changes to the website coming soon. Because of this, teacher pages will be under construction and changing over the next month. 

Please be patient as we work on updating our website. 
Start and End Times
Doors open in the morning at 8:10.  Classes begin at 8:40. 
Classes dismiss at 3:20. Car riders will immediately head outside to the front porch to be picked up. Bus riders to head to their assigned classroom. Walkers will go to the Little Theater and will be dimissed at 3:45. 
Students are not allowed to be checked out during dimissal.

Afternoon Dismissal Reminders
*please be cautious and attentive when driving through the parking lot.
*adhere to the posted speed limit
*please be courteous and yield to the students crossing the cross walk.
*please park in a parking spot in lieu of parking in the road next to the curb. Drivers may not be able to see a student trying to cross if they are hidden by a vehicle parked at the curb.
