Open Registration
Open registration for anyone who did not attend an east side elementary school will take place at Elkhorn Middle School July 17-19 from 9am-2pm. Again, this only applies to those students new to the district or transferring from a west side school. If your child attended Hearn, Elkhorn Elementary, or Peaks Mill, you do not need to come to open registration.
Supply Lists
While we hope everyone is enjoying their summer, stores are starting to put out school supplies. We want to ensure all our students have what they need to succeed here at EMS. Below are the supply lists for all 3 grades, plus one for exploratory (which every student will need).

Elkhorn Middle School names new principal
The Elkhorn Middle School Site-based Decision Making Council has selected Mr. Jeff Rhode (pronounced Rhody) as the school's next principal. Mr. Rhode is currently an assistant principal at Woodford County Middle School. He was a teacher in Hawaii and Idaho before coming to Kentucky. Mr. Rhode's appointment means all four of the district's principal vacancies have now been filled.
FCHS Freshman Orientation
FCHS Freshmen Orientation will be on August 4th (9:00 am - 12:00 pm). We will be offering sessions that help incoming freshmen get acclimated to the FCHS layout, courses, and policies, as well as general reminders for the transition into high school.
