Smith wins $15,000 McConnell Award, Hurley, Mason also honored
Sherri Smith, an English teacher at Franklin County High School (FCHS), was awarded $15,000 Thursday morning by virtue of winning the John Ed McConnell Extra Mile Award. Smith, who has taught at FCHS 30 years, was surprised with the award during the school's year-end Honors Day celebration. 
National French Exam Results
On March 22, 2017, several FCHS students participated in the National French Exam. More than 1500 students throughout the state of Kentucky participated in the exam in addition to over 120,000 nationally...Clikc "Read More" to continue reading.

Lewis named new principal at FCHS
Congratulations to Mr. Charles Lewis, who has been selected as the next principal at Franklin County High School. Mr. Lewis is currently an assistant principal at FCHS and has been at the school for nine years. He will assume his new position this summer.
