We're hiring!
In anticipation of the 2016-17 school year, FCPS is hiring school bus drivers and substitute teachers. Both positions are critical to the school district's operations, and both offer competitive pay. Full time bus drivers also qualify for benefits, including life and health insurance and retirement. These positions may be especially attractive to retirees, parents of FCPS students, and those who seek to supplement their income with a second job (bus drivers) or a flexible schedule (substitute teachers).
Betsy Steele Elected Hearn Classified Staff Member of the Year!
Ms. Betsy, as the students affectionately know her, has served for years as Hearn's custodian. But she doesn't JUST keep the school sparkling! Ms. Betsy is a friend to all students. She gets to know them personally and is their constant encourager. The staff loves her too. Thank you, Ms. Betsy, for ALL that you do for our school.

Save Those Pull Tabs!!
We are collecting the pull tabs from soda cans to be donated to the Ronald McDonald House. This is a place where families can stay for free when they must travel from their home to be with children who are in the hospital.
