PTA Arts Night at the Museum is a Great Success!
Students and their families attended a wonderful event May 13 at the Thomas D. Clark Center for Kentucky History in downtown Frankfort. They enjoyed many activities that helped to acquaint them with our state's rich history including a tour and a scavenger hunt throughout the museum and  a presentation by Ms. Pope's social studies classes. The highlight of the visit was student artwork from Mr. Murphy's class. These pieces of art were hung in a gallery where all could view them.
Top Spellers at Hearn!
3 4th graders came out victorious at the completion of Hearn's 4th/5th grade Spelling Bee! They are Emily (1st place), Trinity (2nd Place) and Claire (3rd Place) respectively. Emily represented Hearn at the District Spelling Bee on February 17th and placed 2nd!

Recycle Your Ink Cartridges and Cell Phones With Us!
Please send in used printer ink cartridges and old cell phones. There is a drop off box in front of the Cafeteria and in the Library. You may also send them to Ms. Burch (Office) or Ms. Nelson (Library). You'll be doing your part for the environment and Hearn will receive $$$ to benefit our students.
Save Those Pull Tabs!!
We are collecting the pull tabs from soda cans to be donated to the Ronald McDonald House. This is a place where families can stay for free when they must travel from their home to be with children who are in the hospital. This is another way our students can learn about helping others in our community.
