Bondurant Middle School Update

UPDATE -  All clear as of 1:58 pm
Parents and Guardians of Bondurant Middle School Students - smoke caused by what we believe is a malfunctioning HVAC motor has prompted us to evacuate all students and staff at Bondurant Middle School. All students and staff are safe. Franklin County Fire Department is checking into the situation. We will have students return to classrooms as soon as possible. Please check our facebook and twitter pages for further updates or contact the Central Office at 502-695-6700.

New Collins Lane Opening Jan. 3; Open House Jan. 2

Classes in the new Collins Lane Elementary School will begin Thursday, Jan. 3, 2019. A public open house will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 2 between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m., during which visitors will have the opportunity to tour the new building.

Whitney Allison named principal at Bondurant Middle School

FCS Supt. Mark Kopp announced today that Whitney Allison, a longtime middle school educator and principal, has been selected as the new principal of Bondurant Middle School. The BMS school-based decision-making council (SBDM) unanimously selected Allison for the position following interviews with a number of highly qualified candidates.

KYA 2018 Bill

Bondurant Middle School students participated in the Ky Youth Assembly at the Kentucky's  Capitol building on Monday, Dec. 10th. School delegates presented and debated bills presented by middle schools throughout the Commonwealth. The 

 
bill was voted favorably and received the Outstanding Bluegrass Bill, the only one selected for the entire conference.  Congratulations!
