The Franklin County Schools have set kindergarten registration dates for the 2018-19 school year.
Children who will be five years old on or before August 1, 2018, are eligible for kindergarten this coming fall.
Parents and guardians may register on the following dates and times at the elementary school their child will attend.
Here is the registration schedule:
- Thursday, April 19th, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Thursday, May 17th, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
If these dates do not work for you, please contact the school to set up an alternate time.
Parents need to bring as much of the following information to kindergarten registration as possible:
- Proof of Residence
- Birth certificate
- Physical Exam Documentation
- Eye Exam Documentation
- Dental Exam Documentation
- Immunization Certificate
Proof of residence is most important on registration day so the school can confirm they are registering in the correct location. Birth Certificate is also a priority.
The other documentation records must be in place by the first day of school.
All east side students will attend kindergarten at the Early Learning Village.
